Chimera

The upcoming Chimera, a mystery thriller series centered on a string of killings set off by a bizarre explosion, is Park Hae-next soo's endeavor. It will be directed by Kim Do-hoon (The Moon Embracing The Sun).

Park plays Jae-hwan, a violent crimes detective tasked with investigate the reappearance of the mysterious "chimera" deaths 35 years later following another explosion. The plot follows Jae-hwan, criminal profiler Eugene (Claudia Kim), and surgeon Joong-yeob (Lee Hee-jun) as they investigate the strange crimes. Gladys Yeo (Gladys Yeo)

Brain, Dr.

Lee Sun-kyun plays Lee Se-won, a neuroscientist with the power to remember every experience he has ever had, in Apple TV+'s first-ever Korean-language original. This dark sci-fi series is an adaptation of the webtoon Dr. Brain, directed by famed director Kim Jee-won (well known for his 2003 horror film A Tale Of Two Sisters).

When tragedy strikes his family, the brilliant scientist searches for a way to retrieve the deceased's memories. Se-won begins to experience terrifying hallucinations as his mind slips into insanity after an unsuccessful memory extraction from a guy who committed himself. – YG

Hellbound

Hellbound is a dystopian series starring Yoo Ah-in (#Alive, Burning) as the enigmatic head of a religious cult, directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan).

Ordinary people labeled as sinners in Hellbound begin to receive terrifying texts announcing their impending deaths. When the promised time comes, terrifying "executors of Hell" emerge to claim their stake, leaving only the burnt corpses of their victims behind. This fantasy thriller follows a broadcasting director, a lawyer, and a detective as they work together to solve the world's most horrifying supernatural phenomena. – YG

Melancholia

Melancholia, starring Lee Do-hyun (18 Again) and Im Soo-jung (Search: WWW), is set at Gang-elite nam's Ahseong private high school, where corruption is rampant.

Im portrays Ji Yoon-soo, a good-natured math instructor who is sacked after being accused of a rumored teacher-student sex scandal after providing extra attention to troubled math genius Baek Seung-yoo (played by Lee). Four years later, the two reconcile and begin working together to uncover the high school's wrongdoing and restore Yoon-good soo's name. – YG

Happiness

In director Ahn Gil-series, ho's wealthy homeowners on the higher levels of a high-rise apartment complex clash with renters on the lower floors (Record Of Youth, Memories Of The Alhambra). In the universe of Happiness, which is similarly set in the near future and features an incurable disease that turns humans into bloodthirsty monsters, all-too-familiar concerns of class inequality play out.

The Sleeve in Red

Lee Jun-ho of 2PM stars in MBC's new historical series, which is based on Kang Mi-best-selling kang's novel of the same name. He portrays Crown Prince Lee San, who subsequently becomes King Jeongjo of Joseon, and falls in love with court lady Sung Deok-im (played by Lee Se-young).

Joy, the Royal Inspector Secret

Secret Royal Inspector Joy is a historical comedy series in which an aspiring gourmet (Ok Taecyeon) has his ambitions of opening a quiet restaurant destroyed when he becomes an undercover government secret agent entrusted with investigating corruption in the nearby provinces.
